“I want to inspire and spread positivity with uplifting messages and personal stories,” he told the crowd. Sitting on a stool holding his electric violin in his hands, Escobar continued.

This is a violin but my music isn’t classical.  I had a vision on my way up that I would use my instrument the way I wanted to do it.  Everybody told me, it wouldn’t work. I told myself that it might take me longer to get there but I stayed true to myself.  And I have played to sold-out crowds and have been onstage with artists like Lalah Hathaway and Maxwell and many more; plus I have put out two albums.  It just proves that whatever dream you have, no matter how old you are, it’s never too late to manifests that dream.”

The artist ended the performance with a gorgeous melody that enchanted the ears.  As the lights were turned down, Damien Escobar asked the audience to wave their phones to the music and it looked like a starlit night. The effect was breathtaking.

Lalah Hathaway created a sultry, soulful set- easily switching from ballads to R&B covers.  She delighted everyone by delivering one hit song after another such as “Baby Don’t Cry” “Heaven Knows”and “Call Me.”  Looking exotic and beautiful, Hathaway had her hair in a long braided bun and was attired in a shimmery, multi-colored fringed sweater over jeans – her feet were bare.  The veteran artist supplied a formidable performance that evening as she satisfied her fans’ appetites for her extensive library of songs.

The next show for Rainbow Promotions, LLC will be Jeffrey Osborne on November 24, 2018, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.  For more information go to: www.rainbowpromotions.com
